Increase MPG
An open and/or empty box traveling at speeds of 30-70+mph creates lots of air drag. Resulting in your truck working harder & burning more fuel to maintain speed. Imagine dragging a parachute behind your trailer, this is a little exaggeration but a great example of your power being wasted by air drag.
